Our Mission The Cat Care Coalition is a consortium of rescue groups and Humane Societies – specifically Guilderhaven, Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society, and Robin’s Nest Rescued Cats - working together to alleviate cat overpopulation in the Capital District. The mission is to increase low cost spay/neuter capacity and to increase public education/awareness of problems with cat overpopulation. |

We hold two reduced-cost spay/neuter clinics a month at the Central Veterinary Hospital on Central Avenue. The income-qualified program is based on federal HUD guidelines; if a person is approved, his or her cat will be tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Here is the official application. |
