Welcome to the Cat Care Coalition

Our Mission

The Cat Care Coalition is a consortium of rescue groups and Humane Societies – specifically Guilderhaven, Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society, and Robin’s Nest Rescued Cats - working together to alleviate cat overpopulation in the Capital District. The mission is to increase low cost spay/neuter capacity and to increase public education/awareness of problems with cat overpopulation.
Clinics

We hold two reduced-cost spay/neuter clinics a month at the Central Veterinary Hospital on Central Avenue. The income-qualified program is based on federal HUD guidelines; if a person is approved, his or her cat will be tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Here is the official application.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers. Stay tuned for more information on how you can help!
